Introducing Ctrl Alt Deliberate: A soft reboot for this newsletter
Not a hard reset, but a deliberate shift. After a year of building, it’s time to evolve.
A little over a year ago, I launched this Substack as a space to share thoughts and analysis on technology, media, and the culture that connects them. I called it Digital Dialogue, which captured the idea of open conversations about the digital world.
But after crossing the one-year mark, I’ve gotten a clearer sense of what I’ve been building here. This has become a space to pause, reflect, and reset—to explore how technology, media, business, and culture intersect and what that means for the people who use, build, invest in, and rely on these systems every day.
So, it was the right time for a rebrand.
What’s changing?
The name: Goodbye Digital Dialogue. Say hello to Ctrl Alt Deliberate. Inspired by the familiar keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Alt + Del), but with a twist. Instead of hitting delete, we deliberate — taking a moment to reflect, rethink, and move forward with intention.
A new home: The newsletter now lives at CtrlAltDeliberate.com. A proper domain name that aligns with where this is headed.
A refreshed look: The website design has been updated. It feels a bit sleeker now, and it has a fresh logo and visuals that better reflect the tone of the content.
What’s staying the same?
The content: Clear, context-rich analysis of how tech, media, business, and culture collide. Oh, and some product reviews in there, too.
The focus: No hype, no filler. Just thoughtful takes, platform case studies, historical context, and actionable insights drawn from my 15+ years working in and around tech — as a journalist, strategist, and communications leader.
